Terms and Conditions
- The minimum period for which you may hold this policy is 12 months. Roofwarranty will arrange for collection of Roof Cover premiums in accordance with your instruction. If you fail to make payment on the due date your Covery will be suspended immediately and during this period you will not be covered.
- Exclusion period – to prevent claims for pre-existing problems (and therefore to keep premiums at a minimum), in your first year of cover, there is an initial 28 day period when you are not covered. The date from which you are able to make a claim is shown on your Roof Cover. Providing you renew before the expiry or your Roof Cover. The exclusion period does not apply after the first year of cover. If you need to claim within the first 28 days of the Roof Cover you will receive a 20% discount on works carried out.
- Roofing Warranty reserve the right to cancel the Roof Cover by giving 7 days notice.
- You are responsible for informing Roof Warranty of any change at your address so that your Roof Cover can be changed or transferred.
- Your Roof Cover premium will be reviewed upon renewal. Any claims made will also be considered within the review.
- Roof warranty has the right to refuse to carry out works if we deem unsafe or not possible. If scaffolding is needed to carry out repairs you will be charged for scaffolding. This will be discussed and agreed before any works are carried out.
- The cover will run concurrently unless we receive your cancellation of the cover in writing.
- You are entering into a yearly contract for the first year only. There for you cannot cancel your Roof Cover within the first year of subscription. After the first year if you wish to cancel your Roof Cover you must put it in writing giving 28 days notice from the day of cancellation.
- We may change any of the terms upon which we provide the Roof Cover to you, including the level of cover or any other term whatsoever. Where this change benefits you, we will make the change immediately and notify you of the change. In all other cases we will advise you of the change.
- All work to be carried out by Roof Warranty or a representative of Roof Warranty.
- Roof Warranty is available to all homeowners that live inside the M25 motorway.
